Although we could fit much more people inside Milk & Beans, our private events are currently designed for a maximum of 75 people, including children. For parties over 40 adults a third staff host may be required.
The capacity of the playroom is 25 people.
For semi-private parties, and the rental of the event-room, the capacity is 18 seated people. If you want to use the event-room during your private party, just for the cake & gifts table, it would comfortably fit 30 people standing-up.
You are welcome to bring a special cake when you book any of our party packages! If you haven’t booked any party package, you may not bring outside food to the playroom cafe, including cake.
All of our party packages include a 9” cake, which may be substituted for 24 cupcakes. Several flavors available!
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food for a private. Let us know if you need to set a table near outlets for your crock-pot!
Outside food and drinks are not allowed during opening hours in any other circumstance.
We don’t have an alcohol permit, so we are not allowed to let guests bring any alcoholic drinks into our café. We are sorry for the inconvenience!
Sure! All our party packages include basic decoration, but you are welcome to bring your own. We also offer stress-free decoration packages, or add-ons to help complete your ideas!
We can work with you to help bring your own vision to your event. We offer substitutions for many of the elements of the party packages. You are welcome to set-up a meeting with us to discuss any changes that you would like to make. For appointments call 859-360-0257.
The 10 play-passes included in a semi-private party are yours! If you have less guests at your event, you will keep the remaining passes. That way, you can use them any other time your kiddos want to come and play!
Guests should follow the rules regardless if they are coming for open play or a private party. Please remind them that they need to wear socks and no shoes inside the playroom, so they are ready to have fun as soon as they come in!
For your safety, every caregiver should sign a waiver and register the children that enter the playroom, even for private parties. Even if the guests have a bundle with us, they need to register if they are not using their own passes.
The deposit is nonrefundable
Private events can be rescheduled once free of charge, up to two weeks before the event.
Second reschedule, or notice of less than two weeks before the event has a fee of $75.
